Open Enrollment
WHAT IS OPEN ENROLLMENT?
Open Enrollment is the annual period when Verra Mobility employees can review their benefit options and make selections for the upcoming year. This is your opportunity to enroll in health coverage, adjust your current elections, add or remove dependents, and take advantage of the full range of benefits Verra Mobility offers. Once the enrollment window closes, your choices will remain in place for the plan year.
Outside of Open Enrollment, changes to your benefits can only be made if you experience a qualifying life event, such as marriage, divorce, the birth or adoption of a child, or a loss of coverage elsewhere. These events allow you to update your elections mid-year, but changes must be made within a limited timeframe following the event.
QUALIFYING EVENTS
A Qualifying Event is a life change that allows you to make mid-year updates to your Verra Mobility benefits outside of the annual Open Enrollment period. Examples include marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, loss or gain of other health coverage, or certain employment status changes. When a Qualifying Event occurs, you have a limited window (typically 30 days) to update your benefit elections. If you do not take action within that timeframe, you will need to wait until the next Open Enrollment to make changes.
Eligibility
Eligible Employees:
You may enroll in the Employee Benefits Program if you are a full-time employee who is actively working 30 hours or more per week.
Eligible Dependents:
If you are eligible for our benefits, then your dependents are too. Generally, eligible dependents include:
- Your Legal Spouse.
- Civil Union - Colorado
- Common Law Spouse in Colorado, Idaho
- Registered Domestic Partner in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington and children up to age 26
- If your child is mentally or physically disabled, coverage may continue beyond age 26 once proof of the ongoing disability is provided.
- Children may include natural, adopted, stepchildren and children obtained through court-appointed legal guardianship, as well as children of state-registered domestic partners.
When Coverage Begins:
Newly hired employees and dependents will be eligible on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. All elections are in effect for the entire plan year and can only be changed during Open Enrollment unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event.
WHEN IS OPEN ENROLLMENT?
Open Enrollment for Verra Mobility runs from Wednesday, November 5 through Friday, November 21. During this time, employees must log in to myverramobility to review benefit options, update elections, and confirm coverage for the upcoming year. It’s important to complete the process promptly—if you miss the deadline, you may not be able to make changes until the next Open Enrollment period unless you experience a
qualifying life event. Taking action early ensures your benefit choices are accurate and your coverage begins on time.
